If some one sprayed maze in your eyes can you stay blind forever?

long story but my girlfriends cousin got attacked by some ediots and they sprayed MAZE and WOOD CLEANING SOLUTION in her eyes she washed it out about 25-30 min later because she was tied up. doctors saw her and they gave her eye drops she was still able to see but a bit blurry but today she cant see at all she sees pitch black shes totally blind :’(
she went to the doctors and the doctors said it might be "temporary"
but i just need some ones opinion. i heard maze is VERY STRONG so i wanted to know can she saty blind forever how strong is maze?
The effects of Mace (spelling correct) are usually temporary–but the key is what’s in the so-called "wood cleaning solution." If it’s paint thinner that’s bad news.
First of all it’s called "mace" and no, mace ITSELF won’t make someone go permanently blind, but I don’t know about a wood cleaning solution. Maybe it can cause permanent blindness.
